Polish scientists in the person of Professor MD PhD Maciej Śmietański from the Medical University of Gdańsk, Professor Krzysztof Karbowski from the Cracow University of Technology and the team of Tricomed SA from Łódź (part of the TZMO SA Group), which has the status of a Research and Development Center, prepared and developed an innovative medical device - an advanced polypropylene 3D implant used to treat hernias, tailored to the individual patient.
Optomesh 3D ILAM (Inguinal Laparoscopic Anatomical Mesh) - is a non-resorbable, surgical mesh product with a spatial structure, manufactured using the knitting technique of transparent and blue monofilament yarn. It is used for surgical management of inguinal hernias and is adapted to the patient's anatomy.
